Marie & Jon tied the knot at Marianmade Farm in Midcoast Maine earlier this year. Marianmade Farm is a working lavender and flower farm near Wiscasset, ME (you can see some of their floral designs in the photos below). The Farm boasts an events barn (also pictured below) that can hold up to 140 people comfortably and up to 200 with a tent, and it rents out the iron and wood tables shown in the reception photos. Elements of this wedding we’re especially digging include the simple birchwood altar, the bride’s beaded headband, and the crespedia billy ball and succulent boutonnieres. We’re also totally in love with the nostalgic, vintage style of their photographer Emily Delamater, and a huge thank you goes out to her for sharing these stunning images with us.
Emily also shared a few tidbits about the day:
I absolutely loved meeting and working with Marie and Jon. For their engagement session Jon took us to his family’s cabin on China Lake, and we went out in the Boston Whaler that had been restored by his grandfather and passed down to his Dad and then to him. It was a place so rich with memories and they were so comfortable and sweet with each other. I knew the wedding would have that same sincere heartfelt energy. Marie was possibly the most relaxed bride I have ever shot – she was gracious and also so calm and just seemed to let the day lovingly happen upon her. I loved the vibrant colors, moss and boho feel of the decor – it was such a great pairing with the natural blooms of Spring.
Best wishes, Marie & Jon! To see more images from this wedding, visit lulawed.com!
