The idea of an outdoor wedding ceremony on a day when the high is expected to be 8 degrees Fahrenheit is ludicrous. Even slightly terrifying. But that didn’t deter Andrea and Greg at all. In fact, they laughed in the face of hypothermia. A lot. You had to in order to stay warm. The couple was determined to make their idea for an outdoor wedding during an Indiana winter work, and they brought out all the stops to make their crazy wedding idea enjoyable for their guests. They had a very (emphasis on the very) short ceremony, forewent chairs so that their guests could move around a little during the ceremony in order to stay warmer, and had four giant outdoor heaters for guests to huddle together under. After the ceremony, the couple rewarded all of their guests with generous helpings of comfort food in a cozy log cabin at the Elkins Resort. The very courageous Jerome Pollos braved the frigid cold that day to beautifully capture this adventurous couple’s special moments and share them with us today. Thank you, Jerome! Did anyone else notice that the bridesmaids’ dresses are above the knee in below freezing weather?!?
