It was winter break of 2009 when the college basketball star and the beautiful cheerleader first crossed paths. We love how they tell the story of when they first met – It was an 80’s themed get together between the two teams, Chelsea said it must have been the crimped hair and bright colored spandex that caught his eye, but Jeff said it was watching the movie “Yes Man” prior to attending the party. Regardless of the circumstances, fate brought these two together that night, and they have been attached at the hip ever since. Chelsea said it was obvious from the beginning that they were a perfect match – and Jeff felt just the same when he was thinking to himself (in his own words), “Wow, this girl is pretty, funny and loves video games…Where do I sign?!”
This picture perfect love story continued as they said “I Do” at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills. This grey and pink wedding had touches of rustic, feminine and glam all mixed together – and we love it! But beyond all the details, Chelsea said her favorite memory of the day has to be their first dance – and the pure joy of finally becoming husband and wife. With that being said, she advises engaged brides to enjoy the journey, stop worrying, and don’t sweat the small stuff. But mostly, to take in every moment and remember what this day means to you, and the incredible life you about to start with your husband.
Thank you, Chelsea and Jeff, for sharing your romantic love story and to Candace Jeffery Photography for capturing the true authenticity of their love.
