Of the many elements of this rustic wedding that we love, possibly our favorite is the pure joy that comes across in every single image. Christy Murray, the couple’s photographer, skillfully captured Lauren & Peter’s love, sincerity, and connection in every single photo.

And as an added bonus, she also caught the couple’s simple yet glorious wedding details, such as Lauren’s braided wildflower crown and the whimsical flower centerpieces arranged in rough cut wooden wine crates. Elements like these flowers combined with others such as sliced wooden rounds used as chargers and serving trays, and the assortment of artisan cheeses and fruits at the couple’s reception helped to give this wedding a relaxed, down to Earth feel while also providing touches of elegance at every turn.

We think Christy may have said it most perfectly when she referred to this wedding as, “backyard bliss at its best.”
